Does Zensai adhere to GDPR regulations and legislation with regard to the use of AI?
Yes. Zensai adheres to GDPR regulations and legislation with regard to AI.
Zensai uses the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, which operates based on prompts. It's important to note that Zensai doesn't transfer any training data to this service.
To learn more about the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, see this Microsoft article.
You can find detailed information about the security measures Zensai takes to protect customer data in the Zensai Trust Center.
Which system does Zensai use for its AI-powered features? Is it connected to ChatGPT?
For AI-powered features, Zensai uses the Azure OpenAI Service. It doesn't use ChatGPT. To learn more about the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, see this Microsoft article.
GPT serves as the foundational AI technology that can be interfaced with through APIs.
The distinction between ChatGPT and the Zensai AI-powered services lies in the following aspects:
- ChatGPT is an AI chatbot application that's built on top of GPT and relies on a set of GPT parameters. ChatGPT is specially trained for chat and incorporates additional features, such as content filters and plugins.
- The Zensai AI-powered services uses the GPT Large Language Model (LLM), which is one of the most extensive neural networks. The GPT LLM consists of hundreds of billions of parameters and empowers AI applications to generate textual content.
Where is AI data stored?
Data relating to AI is housed within Microsoft Azure data centers, just like all other Zensai data. The specific location of these data centers is determined by the region chosen during the Learn365 installation process.
To read more about Zensai data storage, see this article in the Zensai Trust Center.
Where is AI data processed?
The data processing centers for AI aren't the same as the Zensai (Learn365, Perform365, and Engage365) regional data centers, even though both are housed within Microsoft Azure. User prompts are processed in specific regions, according to the mapping in the following table.
Zensai region in Azure | Corresponding AI region in Azure |
---|---|
North Europe | West Europe |
UK South | UK South |
German West Central | German West Central |
Switzerland North | Switzerland North |
Central US US Gov Virginia |
East US |
Australia East | Australia East |
Japan East | Japan East |
Canada Central | Canada East |
Do Zensai or Azure OpenAI use our company data, source content, or generated content to retrain any of the models?
No. Neither Zensai nor Azure OpenAI use customer data, source content, or generated content for the purpose of retraining their models. Feedback that is submitted through Zensai does not get stored on the Azure OpenAI end for any subsequent analysis. This is a measure taken for the protection and security of your data.
When is the source data (text and videos) and the content generated with AI deleted from the AI service?
- When generating content from text, the Azure OpenAI service deletes the data immediately after the task is completed.
- When generating content from video, the Azure OpenAI service deletes the video, transcript, and generated content immediately after the task is completed.
- When creating a course with AI and the user chooses to generate a learning module from the uploaded file, the learning modules are uploaded to the corresponding learning module folder in SharePoint.
Does Zensai use Azure OpenAI service filtering to help protect customers from harmful content?
Zensai uses Azure OpenAI service filtering, which helps to detect and prevent the generation of harmful, offensive, or potentially dangerous content. If such content is detected, the service will refuse to generate it. The administrator will be notified in such instances.
For more information about Azure OpenAI service filtering, see this Microsoft article.
Do AI features fall under the scope of our current Zensai contract?
We strive to offer all organizations the best user experience when using Zensai products so all organizations have complimentary access to AI-powered features.
Your subscription plan determines the extent to which your organization can use the available AI-powered features.
When the application is first installed, AI-powered features are enabled by default but they can be switched off after installation, if required.
We would appreciate it if you could explore the benefits that the AI-powered features in Learn365, Perform365, and Engage365 could bring to your organization, and share your thoughts and suggestions with us. We also encourage you to invite others in your organization to give it a try.
Are there privacy and security implications that are outside the scope of our current Zensai contract?
One variation in your current Zensai contract is that the Azure regions where the AI model processes data don't directly correspond to the Azure regions where Zensai services are installed. For more information, see this section.
Also, organizations that want to benefit from the AI-powered services are asked to accept additional Zensai terms and conditions relating to the use of AI.
What restrictions are there on how I can use the AI-powered services?
While all organizations can access important AI-powered features across Zensai products, in Learn365, your subscription plan determines the scope of the features available to you. For information about the AI-powered features available in each subscription plan, see this article.
There are certain technical restrictions, such as the maximum number of characters that can be used to generate content, the maximum video file size, and the number of pages in an uploaded PDF file. Some of these restrictions are determined by your subscription plan.
What are the current AI capabilities in Learn365, Perform365, and Engage365?
