AI technology and architecture

In this article, we explain the technologies that power AI capabilities across Zensai products.

Trusted AI technologies

Zensai uses modern artificial intelligence technologies to help users learn, create, discover information, and work more efficiently across our products.

Our AI-enabled capabilities are built using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and are integrated into the existing Zensai platform. This approach allows us to provide AI-powered functionality while maintaining enterprise-grade security, privacy, compliance, and operational controls.

How AI works in Zensai

AI capabilities are designed to assist users by analysing information and generating helpful outputs such as:

  • Content suggestions
  • Summaries
  • Recommendations
  • Search assistance
  • Learning and knowledge insights
  • Productivity and workflow support.

When a user interacts with an AI-enabled feature, relevant information is securely processed to generate a response or recommendation. The resulting output is returned to the user within the Zensai application experience.

Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service

Certain AI-powered capabilities within Zensai are supported by Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service.

Azure OpenAI provides access to advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) within Microsoft's enterprise cloud environment. This allows us to deliver AI functionality while benefiting from Microsoft's security, reliability, and regional data processing capabilities.

High-level architecture

Our AI-enabled services typically follow a simple and controlled process:

User Request → Zensai Application → AI Processing Service → AI Response → User Review

This approach helps ensure:

  • Customer data remains protected.
  • AI capabilities operate within defined controls.
  • Users remain in control of AI-assisted actions.
  • AI-generated outputs are subject to human review and judgement.

Designed for enterprise environments

Our AI architecture is designed to align with the security, privacy, and compliance requirements expected by enterprise organizations.

Key design principles include:

  • Secure cloud infrastructure
  • Regional data processing
  • Identity and access controls
  • Human oversight
  • Governance and risk management
  • Security and privacy by design.

These principles help support the responsible operation of AI-enabled services across the Zensai platform.

AI across Zensai products

Available features may vary by product, configuration, and release.

AI capabilities are integrated into selected features across our product portfolio, including:

Learn365

AI-assisted learning experiences, content support, search, recommendations, and productivity features.

Perform365

AI-assisted guidance, feedback support, and productivity enhancements.

Engage365

AI-assisted insights, content support, and engagement-related capabilities.

Customer control

AI capabilities are designed to support users, not replace them.

Customers retain control over how AI-enabled features are used within their environments. Admins may choose which services are enabled, and users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before acting on them.
