Does Zensai use ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini?
No. Zensai uses Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service rather than the ChatGPT consumer application. Certain AI capabilities may be powered by underlying Large Language Models (LLMs) available through Azure OpenAI Service. To learn more about the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, see this Microsoft article.
Which Zensai products include AI capabilities?
AI-enabled features are available across selected Zensai products, including Learn365, Perform365, and Engage365. Available capabilities may vary by product, configuration, and release version.
Data usage and privacy
Is customer data used to train AI models?
No. Customer data, prompts, source content, and AI-generated outputs processed through Zensai AI-enabled services aren't used by Zensai to train AI models.
Does Microsoft use our data to train its AI models?
No. Microsoft doesn't use customer content processed through Azure OpenAI Service to train or improve foundation models.
What data is processed when AI features are used?
Depending on the feature, AI-enabled services may process user prompts, selected content, and relevant contextual information required to provide the requested AI functionality. Processing occurs only to support the requested service.
Where is AI data stored and processed?
Data relating to AI-enabled services is hosted within Microsoft Azure. Processing locations depend on the region selected for the customer's environment and service deployment. For more information, see the Where is AI data processed? section in this article.
Does Zensai comply with GDPR when using AI?
Yes. Zensai applies privacy and data protection measures designed to support compliance with applicable data protection requirements, including GDPR.
Security
How does Zensai protect data used by AI services?
AI-enabled services operate within the same security framework that governs Zensai products and services. Security measures include access controls, encryption, monitoring, secure development practices, and ongoing risk management activities.
Does Zensai consider AI-specific security threats?
Yes. Our AI governance and security processes consider AI-related risks such as adversarial inputs, prompt-based attacks, model misuse, data poisoning, and other AI-specific security concerns.
Governance and responsible AI
Does Zensai have an AI governance program?
Yes. Zensai has established an AI Management System based on ISO 42001 that supports governance, accountability, risk management, oversight, and continuous improvement for AI-enabled services.
How does Zensai ensure AI is used responsibly?
Our Responsible AI Principles guide how AI is designed, developed, deployed, and operated. These principles include accountability, transparency, privacy, security, fairness, human oversight, and continuous improvement.
Does Zensai use Azure OpenAI service filtering to help protect customers from harmful content?
Zensai uses Azure OpenAI service filtering, which helps to detect and prevent the generation of harmful, offensive, or potentially dangerous content. If such content is detected, the service will refuse to generate it. The administrator will be notified in such instances.

Who is responsible for decisions made using AI?
AI is designed to assist people, not replace them. Users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs and making decisions based on their own judgement and expertise.
Can users override or reject AI-generated suggestions?
Yes. AI-generated outputs are intended to support users. Users remain in control and should review, accept, modify, or reject AI-generated content as appropriate.
Compliance
Is AI covered by the Zensai SaaS Agreement and DPA?
Yes. AI-enabled capabilities operate within Zensai's existing contractual, security, privacy, and compliance framework. Customers should refer to their applicable agreements and data processing terms for details.
Does Zensai align with recognized AI governance standards?
Yes. Zensai has established an AI Management System based on ISO 42001 and applies recognized responsible AI practices and governance principles to AI-enabled services.
Is Zensai preparing for the EU AI Act?
AI governance, risk management, transparency, security, privacy, and accountability form part of Zensai's broader responsible AI program and support ongoing compliance activities related to evolving AI regulations.
Product administration
Can AI features be enabled or disabled?
Depending on the product and feature, administrators may control whether AI-enabled functionality is available within their environment.
