Our environmental approach
At Zensai, we recognize that responsible environmental management is part of running a sustainable and trusted business. As a SaaS company, our direct environmental footprint is primarily linked to our offices, digital operations, cloud services, business travel, procurement choices, and the everyday behaviors that support more efficient use of resources.
Our approach is practical and improvement-focused. We work to understand our environmental impact, reduce unnecessary consumption, make responsible supplier choices, and improve the quality of the data we use to monitor progress over time.
Climate impact and carbon footprint
We are continuing to develop how we measure and manage our climate-related impact. This includes improving visibility of emissions associated with our operations, purchased goods and services, cloud infrastructure, employee work practices, and business travel.
Our aim is to build a more complete and reliable environmental data foundation, so we can set priorities, identify reduction opportunities, and report progress in a transparent and balanced way.
How we reduce our environmental footprint
We focus our environmental efforts on areas where we can influence decisions and behaviors across the business:
- Efficient use of resources. We encourage responsible use of energy, equipment, materials, and office supplies across our locations.
- Digital-first working. We use digital collaboration tools to reduce unnecessary travel and support flexible ways of working.
- Cloud and technology choices. We consider environmental factors as part of how we use technology services, including cloud-based infrastructure and digital platforms.
- Responsible procurement. We aim to work with suppliers that support responsible business practices and can contribute to better environmental outcomes.
- Waste awareness. We promote reuse, responsible disposal, and recycling where relevant to our offices, equipment, and business activities.
Environmental governance and accountability
Environmental topics are managed as part of our wider ESG governance model. Relevant teams contribute to identifying environmental risks, opportunities, improvement actions, and reporting needs. This includes cooperation across Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Human Success/People & Culture, Operations, IT, and local office stakeholders.
We review environmental priorities as our business develops, and we use ESG reporting activities to strengthen accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
What are we working on next?
We are continuing to mature our environmental program. Our focus is on improving data collection, documenting environmental initiatives, identifying practical reduction opportunities, and sharing progress through our ESG reporting and Zensai Trust Center updates.
