ESG strategy and governance

How we manage ESG at Zensai

At Zensai, ESG is part of how we build a responsible, resilient, and trusted business. Our ESG strategy focuses on the areas where we can have the most meaningful impact:

  • Reducing our environmental footprint
  • Supporting our people
  • Operating ethically
  • Protecting customer trust
  • Strengthening responsible governance across our global organization.

Our approach is practical and risk-based. We use ESG governance to guide decisions, clarify responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure that sustainability, employee wellbeing, business ethics, security, privacy, and compliance are considered as part of our everyday operations.

Our ESG priorities

Our ESG priorities are organized around the three ESG pillars:

  • Environmental. We work to minimize our environmental impact through responsible resource management, waste reduction, sustainable procurement practices, and ongoing monitoring of our carbon footprint and environmental performance.
  • Social. We are committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive workplace where employees can thrive. Our focus includes employee wellbeing, health and safety, diversity, inclusion, learning, development, and respect for human rights.
  • Governance. We promote ethical conduct, accountability, transparency, information security, privacy, responsible AI, supplier responsibility, and regulatory compliance across our operations. Strong governance helps us maintain the trust of customers, employees, partners, and investors.

Governance model

ESG responsibilities are anchored at Executive Leadership level and supported by relevant functional owners across the business. This helps ensure that ESG topics are managed close to the teams and processes where decisions are made, while maintaining central oversight and alignment.

Our governance model includes clear ownership for ESG-related policies, risk areas, data collection, reporting, and improvement activities. Relevant teams contribute to ESG work across areas such as Human Success/People & Culture, Compliance, Information Security, Privacy, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Product, and Operations.

Policies, standards, and controls

Our ESG program is supported by policies, management systems, and controls that guide how we operate. These include commitments and processes relating to business ethics, information security, privacy, quality, responsible AI, supplier management, employee wellbeing, health and safety, diversity and inclusion, and environmental responsibility.

We align relevant parts of our governance approach with recognized management system practices and applicable regulatory expectations. This helps us manage ESG-related risks consistently and improve over time.

Materiality and stakeholder expectations

We review ESG topics in light of our business activities, customer expectations, employee feedback, supplier relationships, regulatory developments, and broader stakeholder interests. This helps us prioritize the topics that are most relevant to Zensai and most important to the people and organizations we work with.

As our ESG work matures, we continue to strengthen how we assess material topics, collect ESG data, document decisions, and report progress.

Reporting and continuous improvement

We are committed to improving transparency around our ESG program. This includes strengthening ESG reporting, improving data quality, monitoring progress against priorities, and updating our policies and governance practices as our business, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory requirements evolve.
